Located at the Davis Street bridge "spanning" Lake Whitney in Hamden. Small cammoed, appropriate for location, cache with only pencil and log.
The Davis Street bridge was rebuilt in the early 2000's "bi-secting" Lake Whitney. Views from sidewalks of the bridge, particulary mornings and evenings, present a pleasant contrast to the populated area surrounding the undevelopled lake sides which serves as a resevoir for the area. There is a lake side trail along a paved, closed to traffic at both ends, accessible from the west end of the bridge..short, tree lined and peaceful. Parking is a challenge for this essentially P&G cache. On street parking is legal in several locations in the general area of the cache. Please do not obstruct driveways. Muggles will also be present frequently so stealth practices are essential for this traditional cache. A small pencil is included in the slide open cammoed to the location cache. Please return to the same spot and enjoy the view.
