The original cache container was a film container placed in a nearby palm tree - a good storm came by and blew it away. After searching the area, I replaced it with a cache made from a 9-v battery(fence). It also disappeared. While searching for the battery cache, I found the original container! Log intact and dry! SO it was placed in a new location. This also disappeared! I again replaced it with a new design container. Now, lets see how long this will last. Bring your own writing stick, and , perhaps a retriever tool from your geokit.
