Geocache Description:

"Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free" WARNING: If you are uncomfortable in wet, dark, constrained places for extended periods of time... what are you doing Geocaching? Bring a flashlight with an extra set of batteries-"everyone" and be careful when doing this one. Going during or after rain is not recommended.

Welcome once again to another sk8erfamily cache. Cache is @ the posted coordinates! This is a new cache location it was once in the tunnel but now safely outside the tunnel Bluestone walls. MN- Dot was doing some maintaince, so cache has vanished into thin air literally. MN bomb squad detinated the marked previous cache of mine here. Long story but I wanted to keep the original cache page. You can still find the renenents of the old cache location. Edited July 2 2015 AND NOW.... ON TO THE MAIN LISTING

Act. One- Upon the hill across the blue lake???
The Rules change when darkness falls as the geocachers come running come one, come all... It was a late February night. The Sun had long since set below the western horizon and the moonless night allowed a sea of stars to sparkle brightly across the dark cobalt sky. There was a cool bite in the crisp air, a reminder that summmer was know where near. I could smell the freshley cut ceder near the creek, with the dusty aroma of white pine. As I eased into the unknown I allowed myself to relax and take in the uttermost darkness, doing my best to take a few slow, quiet breaths and scan the field more with my ears than eyes. The bite of a cool nights breeze rustled through the frozen tunnel and brushed across my frozen face. I waited several minutes for things to settle down, drip, drip, hoping to find that perfect resting spot. "Finally"- it ready for you, to discover my curious UV hiding spot... Yes, your adventure will take you underground to the place where this cache can be found. I found this place about 5 years ago and have been curious ever since.  It's about .62 mile hike upstream-Kingsbury Creek from the Lake Superior Zoo. Just follow the Superior Hiking Trail-SHT signs and then follow the creek up to the listed coordinates. Out of all the caches I've built, to date- this is one of my favorites! Come one, come all too see the light at the end of this mysterious tunnel! These coordinates will bring you to the mouth of this large tunnel, go inside if you choose to. Are you curious? I know I was...

Please be aware that it this is a larger and longer tunnel them my last cache- "PURE INSPIRATION AND CURIOSITY" GC42BDJ Thanks everyone for making it a success! This tunnel has a small opening at first, and then widens as you walk further into this dark mysterious place...

From the listed coordinates walk INSIDE the tunnel approx. "18" rods/portage 1 rod = 16.5 ft. "clue" yes I said "18":) All Items are fair game to take... It shouldn't be too hard to find, trade items should be small enough to fit this =) hehehe. For an easier cache go when there has been a series of dry days or in the winter months. For a little adventure, wait for a full moon, then attempt this at night! This is a UV cache so if you have a shortwave/longwave UV light your in luck because it will stick out like a sore thumb. But if not, a regular flashlight will work to find it, but it won't glow without the uv light. Jr. and I hand placed this cache at night to get the full twilight effect, so hopefully you can do the same! Check out our newest daytime pics inside the tunnel. FTF my signature coin an old buffalo nickel, and a silver dollar size Lake Superior Agate. Either way, Remember that this is a tunnel, and it can get "slippery when wet" GC3Y32R in there LOL. I am in no way responsible for anything that happens to you as a result of you going after this mysterious cache. Yes, the blue lake I'm refering to is Lake Superior. Enjoy your journey and remember to turn on the lights!

Exit stage left Sk8erfamily :)~ ...
