Geocache Description:

This was supposed to be my first hide to celebrate 150 finds, and it was supposed to be elsewhere but I initially chose a spot too close to the end point of a puzzle cache that I hadn’t solved - hence the name.

Over the past several years, the City of North Vancouver has taken steps towards protecting and enhancing its natural environment through changes in its landscaping practices. In particular, the City has explored naturescaping, or the landscaping of areas using native plants and native plant communities.

Sunrise Park is an example of one of the City’s naturescaping projects. The naturalization area in this small park includes a wetland component; please note that while Fido is permitted here, he must be on a leash.

This small L&L cache is quite close to the trail, there should be no need to bushwhack. There is also a quiet spot nearby to sit and reflect or perhaps listen to the sounds of a soccer game....
