Kiptopeke is located on the Southern Tip of Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The Tree-mendous Adventure cache is located next to a bench, right off of a well maintained trail. The cache is designed to be enjoyed by all ages. Please note that if you are coming from Virginia Beach you will have to pay a toll to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
The geocache that you will encounter on this trail will focus on an area of the park that was once farmland and now has been planted with trees to help with forest succession. Users will learn what trees are native to the area and what trees were used to transform the fields to forest. The cache is a regular sized, lock-lock plastic container. After you have successfully completed the trail you will find a Tree-mendous Adventure card that is specific to Kiptopeke State Park. These cards are yours to keep and can be redeemed for rewards.
