The Return of the Kronski Hideout! Traditional Geocache
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
This is an homage to a legendary local cache from 2010, The Kronski Hideout!
After I was STF to Wheels00's FTF (my 183rd find), we declared that it would not last. But it did last. Two whole weeks. Which is about 13 days longer than we thought it would. And it racked up an impressive 17 finds.
I'd recently noticed that the terrain in this area lent itself to a redux of this cache, and I've been telling Wheels00 for weeks that I was going to do it. I had to shoehorn it in to get it 528' from my own cache across the street, and I found a really perfect spot.
So, if you were one of the 17 lucky ones to find the original, come and relive this classic. If you missed out, especially if you were one of the 8 DNFs before it was archived, come see what you missed.
Wouldn't it be funny if this ended up being our long awaited number 2,000,000?
This cache is no more likely to last than its namesake, however, I bought the cache container in bulk and have 49 replacements at the ready! You, however, may not replace this cache if you arrive and find it missing. Just log a DNF and I will replace promptly. It's like a block from my house.
You have to sign the log to claim the find, yada yada yada ...
