Geocache Description:

Congratulations to grayglove for the FTF.

You will need to bring your own pen and a pair of tweezers would be useful to extract the log, the end of your pen may suffice.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WAS ORIGINALLY NO.7 IN THE SERIES (just to save any confusion for previous finders). Buck wood and the neighbouring woods are beautiful woodlands on the side of the Leeds Liverpool canal. I have decided to place a series of 6 caches along a lovely 3 mile walk taking in the sights and sounds of the woods.
There are a few other caches in the woods already so be sure to have a scout around for those too whilst you are out and about. I would suggest that you allow a good 2 hours for this walk, that’s taking into consideration time spent looking for the caches and soaking up the surroundings. After rain some of the wood can be very muddy so welly bobs or boots are advisable.

From cache 5 continue along less worn path running parallel with the drystone wall. After you cross two small streams head up the hill and continue. Eventually you will go over a stile before the path bends about 90 degrees right. At the T junction at the end of this lane turn right on to a semi tarmaced lane (Ellar Carr Road). After you have found the cache continue along the lane, when it pops out onto Park Road, turn right and follow the road back to Ainsbury Avenue.
