You will be visiting the cemetery where my parents, a dear friend and an aunt and uncle have been laid to rest. This cache will pay a visit to each of them. Remember where you are and be respectful. First you will visit the marker for Edward "Ray" and Wanda Mae Posey. Ray served in the Navy in World War 2 aboard the USS Collett. Ray survived 2 typhoons, the landings in the Philippians, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He was on board when the Collett was the first ship into Tokyo Bay after the second atomic bomb to secure the area for the USS Missouri. They lost only 3 men during their entire tour and those resulted from one particular refueling incident in rough seas. Wanda Mae was a very good wife and mother. To find the second stage N39° 03.9X’ W080°25.958’ X= the last two digits of Wanda Mae’s birth year. Roy and Fleta worked businesses in Weston. Fleta worked at the Colonial Glasses Factory until just before it was destroyed by fire. Roy work at the Sun Lumber Co until it closed and ran a very successful one man re-upholstery business. To find the third stage N39° 03.9Y’ W080°25.993’ Y = X– (Roy’s age – Fleta’s age) Doug was the true meaning of a friend. He would help anyone. He loved his wife Linda and son Wesley and his camp at Middle Fork Campgrounds. He was an avid Minutemen sports fan especially football. The horn that is sounded each time the Minutemen score was installed by him. To find the final stage N39° 03.9Z’ W080°26.017’ Z = Y– the third digit of Doug’s birth year.
