The game is set on a fictional planet where the player must defeat waves of invading aliens while protecting astronauts. The Atari 2600 is available for the PC. Stella (released for free under GNU Public License and available at http://stella.sourceforge.net/index.php) is one of the more popular (and stable) emulators out there. Atari 2600 games (including this one) are available legally for free from several websites including http://www.atariage.com.
On this same location used to be geocache Death of a Geocache Idea (GC3RE12). Death was constructed after several unsuccessful attempts to turn an Atari 2600 cartridge into a geocache container. After thinking about how to re-attack this problem, I did so successfully and chose to kill off the cache in place of celebrating success.
