Runner Mike Series

As far as I can remember my dad had trained for and completed 25 Marathons in his lifetime. He ran marathons all around the country and even a few countries. He Started with the L.A. Marathon and ran in major cities like the New York Marathon, Portland, Seattle, Alaska, Mexico, Miami, and the list goes on to 25 Completed in his life. He even was a coach for a Team called Team in Training and Team for the fight Against Leukemia. On March 7^th 2012 Runner Mike passed away at the age of 53. I had told him when he was in the hospital that when he felt up to it or felt better that I wanted to introduce him into this world of GEOCACHING, but I never got that chance to take him on this wonderful adventure. This Series is for him I am going to place 25 Caches (the number of marathons he ran) along the 26.2 mile course the length of a marathon. I wanted to make a GEOCACHE with my son and this idea just came to me. All of the GEOCACHES wont be placed at once but I know that the last one will be place before the Day of the 2013 Phoenix Marathon.
