What is Geocaching?
If you’ve ever liked playing hide & seek, you’ll love geocaching!
Geocaching is a FREE real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS, and can then share their experiences online.

Beginners Welcome--There is NO SKILL LEVEL OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! All you need is a GPS unit. A limited number of GPS units will be available for borrowing.

Join us at Picnic Shelter #1 at 10:00AM for a brief intro to geocaching, and to pick up your clue sheets! Then it’s up to you to find the “Eggs.” See how many you can find! You might just learn something along the way. When you’ve finished your hunt, simply return your clue sheet to park staff at Shelter #1 and you’ll be entered into a drawing for some really neat prizes. You need not be present to win.
