Geocache Description:

This cache is adjacent to “Southend” but near the Irish sea side of the island. There is a little twist to this cache but it is not complicated. Waterproof footwear is a good idea as the ground is still a little fluid, if you know what I mean, trainer type footwear would be ok in the summer, if it’s dry!
You will need to park the car on this one, there are a few small off the road grassed areas that can be used

An observation I made whist siteing the cache was the amount of coastal erosion in the last 6 months. In Sept last year the wooden fence near the cache site was at the edge of the grass area and horse riders used to ride off the beach at this location, now 2 to 3 metres of the fence is suspended in mid air and there is a 1.5 metre drop. Also, 100 metres north of the fence there is a large amount of beach boulders on the grassy area that were on the beach last year. The cache could be open to interference by farm stock (just timid sheep) so a reference to condition would be appreciated in any logs.
