Come to the Roanoke Canal Trail. This is a great family friendly walking trail hidden in Weldon and Roanoke Rapids. Please park off of Aqueduct road at the Aqueduct parking area.
When we first began our cache adventures, we stuck kinda close to home. Our first adventures brought us around Halifax county looking for the Halifax 7 caches. I know plenty of people came and experienced the fun of the Halifax 7 caches. Recently a friend, who had adopted the Halifax 7, offered for us to adopt the series. We really thought hard about what we would do with the cache series and we decided that it needed an overhaul. We loved finding the Halifax 7 final so much that we decided to make it a "stand alone" cache. A tribute to the first series. Please come and have fun walking the trail. We have plans for some of the other Halifax 7 locations but for now it will be just this cache. Hope everyone can come and enjoy a fun walk in the woods. :)
