Rail Tale: The Georgia Southern & Florida RR Traditional Cache
Obilon: As much as I hate to lose a Rail Tale cache, I just don't come out this way much anymore since my work situation changed and I no longer have any accounts this far out. Thanks to all who visited. It's still a great spot and history.

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
A cache hidden in a micro-scenic area, popular with locals seeking an occassional fried fish dinner. PLEASE recover carefully and completely, or the cache WILL disappear. Oh, and if you drop it, recovering it may be tricky. Park away from the road, and please be careful getting back on.
The GS&FRR was chartered in 1885 to run from Macon, GA to Palatka, FL. Over time it acquired, and was acquired by, other rail lines. The line that once passed here now ends just south of Lake City, and a section east of here from Keystone Heights to Palatka has been turned into a beautiful multi-function trail. Maybe, on a misty morning, you can still hear the whistle blowing in the distance.
Please rehide completely.
