Cette multi-cache vous propose de connaître un peu mieux deux des édifices remarquables de Rosheim : l'Eglise Saints Pierre et Paul et la Porte du Lion.
Eglise Saints Pierre et Paul
Bâtie en grès jaune au 12ème siècle, Sts Pierre & Paul relève un art roman abouti. Les décors tant intérieurs qu'extérieurs taillés sont d'une grande diversité sculpturale : sculptures végétales, billettes, damiers, bandes lombardes, bas-reliefs ou bestiaire. A l'extérieur, les acrotères (personnages terrassés par des fauves) constituent les premières sculptures en ronde bosse d'Alsace.
Porte du Lion
Cette porte commandait la route menant à Molsheim et Rosenwiller et protégeait le front nord de la ville. Son nom est en relation avec l'ancien nom du quartier (Löbar) où la porte fut édifiée.
