Woodworm is a small cache containing logbook and a pencil. Located by the River Lune near Kirkby Lonsdale it forms a walk which can include a streak of caches.
The cache is a few hundred meters along from an aqueduct that leads from Haweswater to Manchester. This is part of the 72 miles of pipe work which was constructed between 1935 and 1955. The River Lune runs directly next to the cache site and offers an area of coldness on hot days! Please ensure that the pencil doesn't wander, along with the inner waterproofing!! When replacing the cache, please make sure that it is firmly held there. Enjoy!!
