Geocache Description:

Small tupperware cache hanging around a wonderful city park. BYOP. Small trackables/coins ok.

(dropped 2 geocoins to start)

Westwood Park is fabulous. The recreation center here is bar none and the fun to be had there and in the park is endless for all ages.

Bring your children or dog, tennis racket, walking shoes, or picnic basket or enjoy or participate in any number of scheduled events at the rec center.

Aidan's Place (located in Westwood Park) opened on December 5, 2001 in memory of Aidan James who was wheelchair bound. It is the second West Coast Boundless Playground created by L.A. Recreation and Parks in conjunction with the Boundless Playground Resource Center West. Visit AIDAN'S PLACE for more details.

Facility Features: Babecue pits, baseball diamond (lighted), basketball courts (lighted/outdoor, unlighted/indoor), childrens play area, community room, indoor gym (with weights), picnic table.
