The Tower of Farley Hill Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Leeroy71: I'm archiving all of my caches due to a change in circumstances, on-going problems with pain/ injury and following feedback from a fellow cacher.

Thanks to all of you who visited and enjoyed my caches and to those who didn't enjoy them, sorry but I tried my best. It's time to let somebody else have a go.

When able in the future, I still hope to get out and about finding the odd cache.

Geocache Description:

A traditional cache located near a handsome Water Tower in Farley Hill.

This cache is situated near to the impressive Farley Hill Water Tower in, the appropriately named, Castle Road. The ornate tower is in delightful spot, as it's in a small clearing along a very quiet forest lined lane. Surprisingly, the tower sits in it's surroundings very well and I'm taking an educated guess here, but based on it's architecture, i would say the water tower dates from the 1950s and i know the caching community is a very smart one, so if anyone knows any better on the vintage of the tower, please let me know.

Please replace cover as found.

PLEASE NOTE: The cache doesn't involve entering or interfering with the tower or it's perimeter, in anyway. In fact the cache is on the opposite side of the road to the water tower

FTF=Well done to daftkakapo and sdavies41 for bagging all 4
