Geocache Description:

Meet fellow geocachers, pose for pics, get a shot at winning a fancy geocoin, and then go cache the crap out of Pasadena.

This event is one of 450+ WWFM events happening all around the world at the same exact moment, morning or night, to bring together geocachers and introduce geocaching to the otherwise sane.

This site is one of the fun landmarks of Pasadena, The Fork in the Road. Read about its history here. This event will last exactly 15 minutes, from 10-10:15 a.m. on Saturday, May the 4th, 2013. Plenty of free street parking on Bellefontaine, but not on the two surrounding north-south streets. There is already a permanent cache here, so be sure to pick up the smiley while you're here.

At exactly 10:00 a.m. we will place two buckets at the coordinates, one to collect log sheets and one in which to put and trade your swag and trackables. At this point, all geocachers will converge to chat and swap goodies if desired.

"Log sheets" (3x5 cards) will be handed out. Please bring your own pen. Participants will sign the log sheets to qualify for attendance, and drop them in the bucket. Your log sheet will also enter you in a drawing for this year's very cool collectible WWFM X geocoin, which is also fully trackable, if you decide to set it free in the world.

Another lucky name will be drawn to receive the honor of "FTF" for the event.

Fifteen minutes is not a lot of time, so things must be scheduled tightly. After a few minutes, we will take a group photo. A bit later we will call out the drawing winners. At precisely 10:15 the buckets and the log sheets will be packed up and the event will end.*

Only those participants whose names appear on the log sheets may log the event. You must log the event within three days on geocaching.com.

Visit the main WWFM Web site to learn all about the event and the countries getting involved.

*At which point another, entirely unrelated event will occur, Hanging Around After WWFM Swapping Tall Caching Tales. End time: unknowable.
