Join us at Sandy Channel SRA for the 11th Annual Cache In Trash Out Weekend on Saturday April 20.

To allow for plenty of geocaching to and from the event we will meet at 2:30 pm.  The coordinates will take you to an area which will serve as parking.  We will have an organizational & safety meeting as well as hand out trash bags provided by Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.  If we have enough participants we might even break into specialized groups and focus on recycling aluminum cans, glass, ect.

You should plan to bring protective clothes, gloves, bug spray, drinking water, and any tools which might aid in collecting garbage.  We will be cleaning in areas with knee-deep grass, around camping areas, along roadways and waterbodies.  A convenience store is located a few miles north for those who prefer flushing toilets.

Don't forget there are several geocaches located in Sandy Channel SRA - including "Sandy" which has brought geocachers here for nearly 10 years.
