Geocache Description:

Cache In Trash Out

March 30, 2013 at 8:30 am to 9:45 am
State Trust access entry point on Wentworth Road

We all enjoy the benefits of the outdoors but not all people take care of our environment the way it should.  Cache In Trash Out (CITO) is a way cachers can give back to the community.  The area we are targeting for this clean up is an entry point just before you enter State Trust Land.  You do not need a permit to help with the clean up and there is plenty of parking.

Trash bags, vest and water will be provided and some trash pickers will be available.  It is recommended you wear closed toe shoes/boots and bring leather or garden gloves.  It is also highly recommended to wear long pants, a long-sleve shirt, hat and sun-screen.  As with all desert activities, everyone needs to be aware of the desert environment and the inhabitants we may run across.

Adults and Youth 14 and older Only for trash pick up - keep reading... Even though we are getting a one time cleaning permit, the group will be following the Pima County Adopt a Road guidelines which state that no one under 14 can join in the roadside trash pick-up. Don't worry though, go ahead and bring the kids along. We will have fun stuff for them to do at the posted coordinates, which is the check in tent.

If we all pitch in, it should take about an hour to take an eye sore and make it presentable again.

UPDATE 3/21/13 - Directly after the CITO, a Flash Mob event is scheduled. Following the Flash Mob, a new set of caches will be released. Show up ready to go caching in a high clearance 2wd or 4x4, AZ State Land Permit, TOTT, plenty of water and your best geo-senses to cache the remainder of the day away.. and maybe even some of the night too!!
