In early 2013, The Demolition Crew started to plan for an assault on the power trails of SA.
While the puzzles were solved easily, the plan of attack needed to be determined and run sheets prepared. After working extensively on the plans, a 6 day visit to South Australia was prepared based on the 24 hour attempt scheduled for Tuesday 9th April 2013.
After a few days of caching in the area collecting caches not included in the record attempt, the run started at midnight to the south of Murray Bridge with the Oz Mega Signal series, through Murray Bridge and onto the Oz Mega series. Once those series were completed it was a mad dash back to Tailem Bend to start the Wandering Heroes series. Moving north The Demolition Crew reached Loxton and headed quickly west to the Tour de France series, where the run ended at midnight.
Completely exhausted the members of The Demolition Crew +1 had finished their run with 692 caches for the 24 hour period.
