The Flood #1 Keelbottom Rush Traditional Cache
AT502: As a cache hider I am sick of negative comments. I am strictly only going to find for the foreseeable future. It's such a shame as my kids enjoy placing caches and reading the positive comments.

The Flood series of caches is coming from inland in a great big tidal wave. Starting as a trickle but culminating in one massive rush. The 100 cache series is a must for any geocacher taking you from isolated creeks down into the depths of suburbia. Hope you can swim!!!
Keelbottom Creek is a spactacular sight to behold at any time of the year whether it be flooding or just trickling it has alot to offer. The cache is located at where Keelbottom Creek crosses the Mingela Road. At the cache site is a nice little swimming hole right along side and old railway grid style bridge. The cache is a black plastic water tight container that has room for trackables.
Whilst off the beaten track it is a rewarding and refreshing drive. Be aware that due to its proximity to a military training area there can be alot of military vehicle movement at times. Count the amount of Steel Railway Girders there are running across the bridge. It will help you later on.
