Die Vorgeschichte In den letzten Jahrhunderten versuchten unzählige Schatzsucher den Schatz des geheimnisvollen Schlosses zu finden, das sich Legende nach oberhalb von Nals befindet. Aber es sind bisher alle an ihrem Vorhaben gescheitert, von manchen Abenteurern hat man nie mehr etwas gehört. Mit der neuesten Technik ausgestattet wollt ihr euer Glück versuchen und hofft einen Vorteil gegenüber eurer Konkurrenz aus früheren Epochen zu haben. Mal sehen wie weit ihr kommt...

Der Cache Euer Vorhaben wird euch knapp 5 Kilometer durch den Wald führen, wobei ihr etwa 150 Höhenmeter (jeweils auf- und abwärts) überwinden werdet. Es wird ausdrücklich empfohlen das Listing vorher vollständig zu lesen. Der Cache kann nur im Team absolviert werden und wurde auch so geplant (d.h. ihr müsst mindestens zu zweit sein).

Außerdem benötigt ihr:

Eine Taschenlampe pro Person (aufgrund des unebenen Geländes!)
Festes Schuhwerk
Einefrische 9V-Blockbatterie (eine Reserve-Batterie könnte eventuell hilfreich sein)
Euer GPS für den Final

Für die Runde sollten 2,5 bis 3 Stunden eingeplant werden. Sie ist prinzipiell auch im Winter mit schneebedecktem Boden machbar, aber schwieriger da der Weg nicht so gut zu finden ist. Parken könnt ihr gleich in der Nähe bei den angebenen Koordinaten.

Bei Fragen könnt ihr euch gerne melden bevor ihr umsonst hoch fährt.

Die Reflektoren Ihr werdet von weißen Reflektoren vom Start bis zur letzten Station (Stage 3) geführt. Wenn ihr auf rote Reflektoren stößt, heißt das dass eine Station in der Nähe ist. Sucht dann zwei übereinander angebrachte rote Reflektoren, die euch den genauen Standort der Station angeben. Also seid wachsam. Ihr müsst den Weg nur für die Stationen 1 und 2 kurz verlassen (also nur bei roten Reflektoren) - ansonsten bitte auf dem Weg bleiben. An Station 3 könnt ihr dann den Standort des Finals berechnen, wenn euch das Glück hold ist.

Die elektronischen Stationen An zwei Stationen (Zur Zeit nur bei Station 1) wird die mitgebrachte 9V-Blockbatterie benötigt. Ihr werdet zwei Kontakte vorfinden über die ihr die Station mit Strom versorgen müsst. Die Batterie haltet ihr dazu mit dem Pluspol(+) unten an die Kontakte.

Das sieht dann aus wie auf dem Bild. Während sich eine Person um die Stromversorgung kümmert, können die anderen nach der gefragten Antwort suchen.

Die gesuchten Zahlen Eure Aufgaben an den Stationen:

Station 1: Ihr werdet einen Buchstaben finden, der allerdings seitenverkehrt bzw. gespiegelt ist. Spiegelt ihn, rechnet ihn in eine Zahl um (A=1, B=2, C=3, usw.) und nennt die Zahl A.
Station 2: (Die Station ist zur Zeit nicht elektronisch bzw. temporär vereinfacht!) Findet die Zahl und nennt sie B.
Station 3: Nennt C die Anzahl der Buchstaben des Namens des geheimnisvollen Schlosses (große rote Buchstaben).

Kontrolle: A+B+C ist eine gerade Zahl.

Final - Der Schatz Solltet ihr auf dem Weg nicht von Monstern oder Geistern in die Flucht geschlagen worden sein, könnt ihr mit den Antworten der Stationen die Position des Finals im geheimnisvollen Schloss berechnen. Die Koordinaten lauten:

N 46° (C+24).C(A+2)(B-3)'
E 11° (C+3).CC(A+B-4)'

Es muss bei der Suche kein Stein bewegt werden, vor allem wenn ihr nicht den Zorn des Schlossgespenstes auf euch ziehen wollt. Bitte seid vorsichtig mit dem regular Behälter, damit auch spätere Finder noch eine Freude daran haben können.

Die geteerte Straße, über die ihr gekommen seid, führt euch nach eurem Abenteuer zurück zum Parkplatz. Gutes Gelingen!

The story In the past centuries numerous treasure hunters tried to discover the treasure of the mysterious castle. According to a legend the castle is located above Nals, hidden in the woods. But none of the adventurers ever found it, some of them even never returned. Equipped with the most modern technology you hope to have an advantage against all the previous hunters and want to try your luck. Let's see how far you get...

The cache Your trip will take you a 5 kilometer long track through the forest and you will pass approx. 150 meters of altitude. We strongly recommend to read the whole listing before attempting the challenge. As the cache name suggests you can only get to the final in a team, i.e. you have to be at least 2 persons.

Additionaly required are:

A flash light per person (due to the rough terrain!)
Good (sturdy) shoes
A fresh Nine-Volt Battery (an additional battery could be useful)
Your GPS device for the final

You should plan with a duration of about 2.5 to 3 hours. The cache can be found also during winter (with snow covered ground) but much harder since the track is more difficult to find. A parking place is available nearby, see the corresponding waypoint for coordinates.

The reflectors You will be guided by white reflectors from the start to the last stage (stage 3). If you spot a red reflector it tells you that a stage is nearby. In that case search two directly above placed red reflectors that show you the stages exact position. So be careful to not miss them. You only need to leave the track twice: at stage 1 and stage 2 (and therefore only when spotting red reflectors!). Please stay on the track all the other time. Arrived at stage 3 you should be able to calculate the final's coordinates.

The electronic stages At two stages (currently only at stage 1) you will need the battery you took along. You will find two electric contacts by which you can power up the stage. To do this hold the battery to the contacts, positive(+) pole on the bottom.

The image shows you how that should look like. While one person cares for the powering of the stage all others may search the requested answer.

The numbers to search Your tasks are the following:

Stage 1: You find a sideways/mirrored letter. Mirror it and transform it to a number (A=1,B=2,C=3,...) and call that number A.
Stage 2: (Currently non-electric/simplified!) Find the number and call it B.
Stage 3: Call C the number of letters of the mysterious castle's name (big red letters).

Check: A+B+C is an even number.

Final - the treasure If you didn't get too frightened by monsters or ghosts until the end you may calculate the treasure's coordinates in the castle. They are:

You don't have to move any stones, especially if you don't want do wake the castle's ghost. Please be careful with the regular sized container, other cachers for sure would like to see it in the same good condition.
