Named after the Priory of St John that once stood nearby, this site on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens was planted in 1998 as part of the Woods On Your Doorstep Millennium Project. Some areas of the site remain unplanted, partly due to archaeological interest. This allows visitors to enjoy the green open spaces as well as the newly planted woodland while both natural and created water courses enhance the peaceful setting. Cache placed with the kind permission of the Woodland Trust
