My son came up with the name for this cache as we slide down the hill in the rain while placing it. The creek and woods near here are a great place to explore not far from our house in Battlefield. We have just started geocaching as a hobby and really enjoy the outdoor family experience. Feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks! Update 4/27/22: Replaced with cheaper plastic ammo box after original went missing. Moved to location that is easier to access.
The cache is in a medium sized green military ammo box. We placed some kid friendly trinkets in the box, our kids really seem to enjoy finding something when we explore. There are a few caches up the trail from this one and after we found them we thought we would continue on down the trail with another. My son was so excited to place this one that we rode our bikes up the trail in the pouring rain to place it! Ahhhhhh kids... 4/27/22 Update: Original was reported missing so I replaced it a little further up the hill. Not as muddy as the original, but even more kid friendly!
