Part of the Manzy Kids Mall Walk, this one is near one of the Manzy Kids' first found caches, Lost Road.
We won the cache at Berkeley Boomer's "Leap Into March" event last year and just recently figured which size cylinder to use within. Thanks Berkeley Boomers!

Each semester, teachers at the nearby charter middle school offer different 'Academies' to students. This spring, a teacher added a Geocaching Academy to the list. Other academies include cooking, chess, CSI, bicycling, martial arts, swimming at the nearby YMCA, woodshop, event planning, and bowling in Pinole. These classes meet once a week for two hours to expand horizons of the students.
To help with the new academy and help the kids "Get Out There", I'm placing some caches between the school and the mall, leaving a few spots in the park for the kids to place caches once they get a feel for the different types of cache and associated skills and stewardship.
