This hide celebrates our love of scary movies and you will find our feature villain hidden within. Down the stairs to where weird structures lay... Freddy's trove is no far away. ..
FREDDY'S BASEMENT is the 2nd hide along a common trail. From QUAMBEE CACHE (1) you will pass by FREDDY'S BASEMENT (2) and just around the bend you will come across SWEET PIGGY (3) We love this little pocket of land and invite you to take a stroll. There are several ways to access this cache but if you have the time we recommend starting at Quambee Reserve (path starts at other side of Pony Club) and crossing over Little John Road. The land is maintained by Melbourne Water and they keep it immaculate. Alternatively for a quick grab you can park on Glynne Road.
The water level rises quite high during rainy weather but you can still access the cache safely. Once you've found the cache take the time to explore the area. Its a wonderful place maintaining a lot of Warrandyte's natural aesthetic while joining with the suburban sprawl of North Ringwood.
