US Citizen: No wonder why it was so easy to open. Someone just logged it within the last 24 hours.

Time to Archive this one. Not just because the log is full, because I'm leaving Thailand within the next 1 - 2 months and I would prefer to leave within the next month. And I wasn't too thrilled about the ants. I want the cachers to have a good experience and not bring home memories of ants; however, I didn't find the ants problematic. There were ants in the area but not on the cache itself. Maybe a shorter person might have more issues than someone taller, with a longer reach.

Time to Archive caches.

Geocache Description:

Beach Access in NaKlua. Go to Soi 16, which is the 2nd of 3 traffic lights in NaKlua. Drive all the way down until the road turns and follow the little alley straight down to the beach. You're looking for a Jamie Zel Black Magnetic Micro.

Oh, there is room for motorbike parking at the end of the alley, next to the beach.

This beach area is less populated than Pattaya and offers a great place to get a tan. Unlike Pattaya where it's almost required to rent a lounge chair and umbrella, here you can almost pick out any spot you like. Low tide will allow about 20m worth of sandy beach while high tide may result in 5m or less of beach. Even additional swimming zones have appeared since last year. Less boating / jet ski traffic too makes for a bit safer swim. I'm not going to say the water is clean but it's much cleaner than Pattaya Beach (Beach Rd.).

One thing is for sure, this is an area to get away from all those tourist vendors walking up and down the beach in Pattaya. Oh, you'll still get hounded but less frequently.

This could save some people some time. By accessing the beach here, it's just a hop, skip, and a jump to "Like A Walk On The Beach?" (GC1D0N8). And just another hop, skip and a jump up the beach to take some pics of "Sanctuary Of Truth", heading north.

UPDATE 20 JULY 2013

The cache went missing due to some sort of construction. Signs were taken down along the road. I had to replace the cache and replacing near the original location was probably stupid. So I opted to move it closer towards the beach as the cache name implies. Go down the alley towards the ocean. The cache is accessible from the alley way but not on / in the alley. The cache is MAGNETIC. Your choices will be slim to none depending where you are in the alley way. The cache can be retrieved from the ALLEY WAY ONLY! I deliberately placed it out of sight so it will less likely be muggled. Please replace exeactly where you found it (out of sight).
