I was washing my car one day when I spotted this red nano on top of my car. Turned out that Walking Backwards had placed it there a month earlier. The nano survived for months up there until I decided to let it meet its destiny as a cache.
Dedicated to Mark (WalkingBackwards) who recently passed away way too soon (April 27, 2015). .
The cache is near an interesting sidewalk. It was obviously very expensive to put in, but is only 150 feet long and doesn't seem to come from or go to anywhere. There are no connecting sidewalks or crosswalks. It has an extensive wheelchair friendly switchback system, but then has a curb across the sidewalk that prevents wheelchairs from reaching the end.
To preserve the area and save people from painful searches, let me tell you where the Red Nano is NOT.
It is not in, on or under the rocks.
It is not in, on or under the landscaping or the ground cover.
It is not in, on or under the bushes or trees.
It is not in, on or under the ground.
It is not in, on or under the irrigation system.
It is not in, on or under the storm drain or grate.
It is not in, on or under the sign.
It is not in, on or under the utility box or call station.
It is not in, on or under the light pole.
It is not in, on or under the traffic island.
It is not in, on or under the street, sidewalk or the curb.
It is not in, on or under anything you'll have to open or disassemble.
So what's left? Well, it is easily reachable from the public sidewalk.
