April 20-21, 2013 is the 10th National CITO weekend. Where will you be?
Geocachers in North Florida are being given an opportunity to CITO at a park that hasn't even been opened yet. The City of Jacksonville Parks has asked if we would like to do trash pick up and trail maintenance at the soon to be opened William F. Sheffield Regional Park.
Acquired in 2003, this 385 acre former dairy site will become a park containing soccer fields, baseball and softball facilities, a community center and pool, skateboard park and trails. Two large ponds compliment the site and will be used for small boating and fishing activities.
So come join us for a clean up and preview at the posted coords from 9:00-12:00.
Let's picnic afterwards. The Cache station will bring some lunchmeat and cheese!!
