Twenty new caches have been placed around Hyrum and should be published Saturday morning. Also a reminder that no dogs are allowed in the park.
FREE FOR ALL cache hunt at noon til 1:00pm. $1.00 entry fee. You can enter as single or as a group. 100 micro caches are hidden at the park/town square. Bring each cache found to dfly in trade for a ticket to be put in a drawing. There will be a geocoin for the winning entry that is drawn. There will be no clues or cords for this contest, you will just have to use your geo-sense. Everyone that pays the entry fee will get at least one ticket for the drawing.
1,000 Cache Club: If you are a Cache Valley cacher and have reached the 1,000 cache finds in the last year e-mail dfly57, we want to recognize your accomplishment at the event
We will have a vote for the best new cache placed in the last year in Cache Valley so start thinking about your favorites.
We will have a raffle. If you have anything lying around you would like to donate please bring it.
Trackables: Bring to share and trade but please be sure to retrieve them both physically and online after the event. We don't want them left in limbo.
We will probably come up with some games or other contests but mostly we just want to meet, greet and get to know our fellow cachers so come and have some fun!
Park has volleyball, room to play, throw frisbees and a playground for the kids. You will have to bring your own equipment like balls etc.
