EMPIRE LAKES WALK
THIS IS A WOODED AREA AND YOU WILL POSSIBLY FIND 4 LEGGED AND FLYING THINGS.......
Be sure to bring your fishing pole for this walk. Go to the lower (most westerly lake) at the top of the hill before you get to the main parking lot take the trail to the right. (if you got on the trail to the bridge that is under construction you got on the wrong trail. You want the one on your right, go back and take the other trail) Go past the tree with red paint, walk on the 106 boards foot bridge. Then 100 feet or so left at the fork. Watch for the tree on your right that has 2 cuts and the pitch is running out, no it’s not here. Left at the fork and keep going you are almost there. While going up the little hill there is a tree on the left that has been cut down. Look right in the Blue Huckleberry bush for the cache. Please be careful as there are a lot of walkers and we would like this one to be available for a while. Good Luck
