The Old Murmungee Hall was built in 1869 to be used as a School Hall and Church. It was still in use as the Town Hall until a few years ago when a new hall was constructed.
I think it's a telling sign that the locals love this place, that they Still hold their celebrations here, and keep the new hall for boring stuff like meetings ;)
Please enjoy your wander around the grounds, and please treat this Class B Listed site with respect.
