If You Hide It, They Will Come, 6th Inning Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rocky Banks: It seems fitting that I decided to archive this cache the same day Yogi Berra passed away. Also time to free up the area for a new cache.

Geocache Description:

6th in a series inspired by my favorite sports movie "Field of Dreams". Bring your own pen.

Ray Kinsella: This is my corn. You people are guests in my corn.

There is a lot of humor intertwined with baseball, (just look at the '62 New York Mets record!) I invite younger cachers to Google Abbot and Costello's "Who's on first?" routine. This cache is located a lot closer to the catcher's position than all the others. Why did I add that comment? - funny you should ask. Lawrence "Yogi" Berra was a three-time MVP catcher with the New York Yankees and coached the team after his playing days were over. He is known for his unintentional aphorisms, several of which are still tossed around today:"When you come to a fork in the road, take it"
"If people don't want to come to the park nobody's going to stop them."
"If you don't know where you're going, you might not get there."
"It's deja vu all over again."
"It ain't over 'til it's over."
"The future ain't what it used to be."
"Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded."
