This cache has been archived.

Rocky Banks: Went down to GZ today and they are putting up a lot of green fences. Not only that, but the concrete lane dividers where the cache was hidden have been taken away.

Geocache Description:

The 7th cache in the series inspired by "Field of Dreams" my favorite sports movie. Check out the time of day the gate is locked. Bring a pen.

Mark: You're going to lose your farm, pal.
Ray Kinsella: Come on, it's so big - I mean, how can you lose something so big?
Annie Kinsella: He misplaced the house once.
Ray Kinsella: Yeah, but it turned up two days later, didn't it?

The field and farmhouse used in the movie was actually made up of two different farms in Dubuque County Iowa. In 2007 the Lansing family, owners of the house and half of the field bought out the other family. Just recently it was announced that former professional baseball player, Wade Boggs had bought the property from the Lansings and plans to develop a youth baseball/softball complex, featuring 24 fields. The rumor is that the complex will be called "All Star Ballpark Heaven." So they are building it, but will people come?
