By rule you will need a 4wd horse or motor bike although some may choose to walk in from either hounville or new norfolk. The track can be hard at times depending on conditions. At time of placement I drove to it with ease. With a permit you can access the wellington ranges not far from here
Jefferies track joins the Houn and Dewent Valleys This cache is placed close to the junction to the Eastwest trail that allows access to the wellington ranges by permit. Don't fool yourself into thinking this is an easy 4wd track. Best to tackle it in pairs depending on your vehicle choice
