Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at a holy well called Ogulla which is believed to have been the site of the Clébach well where St. Patrick baptised and converted Fidelma the red and Eithne the fair to Christianity.
They were the daughters of the High King Laoghaire of Tara and were studying at Cashel Mannanan nearby in the complex of Rathcroghan.

This account of the conversion to Christianity of the Daughters of the High King is a classic example of stories recorded by early medieval monks and shows the continuity of use of pagan holy places by the new religion.
Today remnants of the old ways can still be seen with a rag tree on site and the various offerings.
