All of the caches in this series are located at or near Taste of Nova Scotia sites. ToNS is a program that the provincial government funds to bring exceptional Nova Scotia producers and culinary craftmen to the forefront. There are so many restaurants, wineries and farm markets, that show the variety of food and drink in this province.
This cache was near a Taste of Nova Scotia "producer", but is no longer. This was a welcome stop on my way to my grandmother's in the summertime as a child. Usually it meant Hodge Podge for lunch and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert, two of my favorite dishes made lovingly by my grandmother. Look for other caches in the series.
