Geocache Description:

June 27th  starting at 6:30 pm until nearly dark .

WVTim and WVGrammy would like to invite you to our home for a mid week picnic.  We understand most of you have work the next day, so we expect attendance to be sparse.  So, why in the world are you doing a picnic on a work day all the way out near Sleepy Creek?

Why to "MEET THE AUSSIE'S" of course !

Now for the rest of the story!   A couple from Australia emailed me several months ago.  They were coming to America for holiday.     In looking at caches, they noticed a couple of NIGHT caches.   They LOVE night caches, so they decided to swing up this way to find some.  We are going to escort them around the area doing some caching, but they wanted to end up doing my night caches in Sleepy Creek.    So, we would like to show them some American geocaching hospitality with a covered dish picnic. We will supply the hotdogs and the drinks, you bring your favorite side dish to treat them to American cooking. Please post how many will be coming so we will know how many hot dogs to have one hand.

We live about 1/2 hour from I-81. We live in off Backcreek Valley Road. I know your gps will lead you here, but sometimes the gps will play games with you out here. From BackCreek Valley Road, Route 7 turn onto Jones Spring West Road. Immediately take a RIGHT at Y, onto Locust Grove Road. Go 1.3 miles on Locust Grove Road. Turn LEFT on Jade Court into the Meadows at Sleepy Creek. Take the first RIGHT onto Tigers Eye Drive. Stay on Tigers Eye until you come to Sapphire . Turn RIGHT onto Sapphire Drive – Go to end of cul-de-sac. Driveway is to the right of the manure spreader. (Yes, manure spreader.)

Kids are welcome, so bring the entire family.

We know we are off the beaten path, but we would love to have you and your family join us in greeting Glenn and Angela. We have a picnic pavilion close to the pond and we can sit around and enjoy each others company, no matter how many can make it.

For any of you having the day off, we are not far from GR8Caches new power trail -TMHCR. Plan on caching all day and join us for dinner.
