Geocache Description:

This cache is located between Belfast and Searsport.  Look for green "City Of Belfast Public Way Sign" next to the highway on Rt1 / Rt3, follow trail down to shore, look for nearest tree on edge of shore and BAMMMMM - There It Is! The public access  is a narrow parcel of land surrounded by private property - the field to the left of trail is not part of the commons and should be treated as such. Let’s stay on the trail and encourage our beloved children and pets to do the same.

Directions: From Searsport, drive about 3 - 4 mls on Rt1 / Rt3, look for green "City Of Belfast Public Way Sign" and a parking lot on the left.  From Belfast, drive about 1.5 mls from the harbor bridge on Rt1 / Rt3, look green "City Of Belfast Public Way Sign" and a parking lot on the right.  Locate the trail that starts at the green sign and follow it all the way down to the shore and start looking for the cache from there - a silver plastic container. NOTE: The container lid  needs to be doubled checked that it's completely sealed and airtight when you leave.
