This location has excellent views with a large open rock area to explore.
This cache was inspired by our search for Rogerw3's nearby VIEW3-61 HARTLEY VIEW cache that you will pass by as you head for this one.
There is an easy drive in but walking in would be better.
As you come into the area of the cache you will pass by what may be parts of the remains of the old shale or kerosene oil works that was operational in the 1870s in the region.
The walking is easy however you will have some scrub as you get closer to the rock platform. It is well marked by stone cairns.
There are cliffs but this cache is well back from any major drop.
