This cache and Benacre Wood 2 have been placed to complement my nearby cache "Duncan Down".
If you are planning to search for all 3 caches it's best to seek Duncan Down first and then go onto Benacre Wood.
Benacre Wood officially became part of Duncan Down Village green in 2011 after the Friends of Duncan Down were successful with their application to have it included on the grounds that the land had been "used for the purposes of lawful sports and pastimes ‘as of right’ and without challenge by the landowner for a period of over 20 years".
