Caveboy_ken: The school is gone, sad to see another disappear forever. Not sure what the plans are for this lot but its quite obvious that its been cleared quite a bit already and looks as if whats left will be gone soon as well. Grabbed the cache, archiving.... Geocache Description:


Back in the day this was quite the gathering place for all the neighborhood kids of many ages however with age comes new and better things so this place is slowing but surely falling into ruin. With that a few years ago the effort to restore it went aside also as the monetary donations just didn't materialize. It's still a neat structure in a strange sort of way. Perhaps now it's new purpose will be for those of us who like to photograph such things for the nastalgia of those days long gone.  Feel free to take a moment and think of the kids playing without all those high tech fancy gadgets that we have now days..... Ok, enough of that sappy stuff! Now get your butt over to the east a hundred feet or thereabouts from where you likely parked and grab this cache!            This is also a good place for some CITO, perhaps we can all help clean it up some while we have our fun.
