Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden at the bottom of Honeybog hill, located between Ralston and Penilee.

A copper coin (96 - 98 AD) and the base of a beaker of red clay with cream slip were found a number of years ago beside the burn that runs between the hill and the railway.  The latter is on display in the Huntarian Museum in Glasgow.

The safest way to access the hill is by parking at the top of Kinpurnie Road, walk into Barshaw Place then take the lane about 20m on the left, this will take you directly into the field below the hill (see waypoint).

Please follow the boundary paths and avoid walking directly over the fields. All fields on the north side of the hill are currently used, those on the south side are not and you can wander freely.

Wellies are recommended as the area can become muddy after rain.

Happy hunting
