Thinking caps needed here... Cache is located near a spring. You will need to bring a water bottle or other container to help you access the log once you find the cache. Please do not dismantle the cache.
You only need to do three simple things to get the log... 1. Unscrew the cap (it's kinda tight... but should be able to come off with a gentle twist) 2. Plug & Pour. 3. Watch the log container float up.
