Aztec Boardwalk Mystery Cache

Aztec patterns tend to be lots of squares and right angles. The boardwalk where this cache is hidden is a lot like that.
This cache is hidden in the middle of a mini-wetlands environment within a stone's throw of water, parks and beaches. I've been told that it has something to do with a special frog of some kind, but this could be a fairy tale. You won't need to bring much, just your GPS, and maybe a pen. There are a couple of swaps within this small cache, so don't bring anything bigger than a deck of cards.
To find this cache you will have to start at the posted co-ordinates, then follow a simple set of directions to get you to the right area to search for the cache.
The cache is securely attached, able to be released by careful use of the carabiner, but is not in plain sight. You won't need to leave the actual boardwalk to find it, but it isn't going to jump out at you either. Use the encrypted clue if you really can't find it, it may make it a little bit easier, but not by much.

No, they aren't encrypted, and they may only make sense once you find the cache, unless you have that specially twisted brain common to puzzle solving geocachers.
