Park and Grab
Lake Colac and the Bird Sanctuary provide important feeding, resting and breeding habitat for over 20 species of waterbirds, including a number of migratory species that are listed under the Japan, Australia migratory birds agreement and the China, Australia migratory agreement. This is a agreement for the protection of migratory birds and there habitats to avoid extinction. There are a few sign posts around with more information about the birds aswell as some picnic tablets. From here you can follow the foot path from the picnic tables right around past the Caravan Park to the Botanic Gardens and kids Playground. There is also public toilets there.
