Watch for Pedestrians Traditional Cache

The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since our last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If the owner does happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Our next stop on the 'Peterman Reality Your' Yorkton style is a sad place for me, but a very important stop. The intersection here is where a car-pedestrian accident happened almost 18 years ago. My grandmother was crossing the street on the crosswalk after an RCMP car had stopped for her to let her cross. While she was walking across, another car struck her and she was killed instantly. A very sad tragedy!! I think about it everytime I go home to visit and especially when I drive by here. It was a difficult time for my family, but time helps ease the pain. I have some great memories of her and enjoy them always. She will always be loved and missed by me and all of her family!! So remember to always watch for pedestrians, and when someone is stopped on the road and it seems odd or you wonder why, slow down so you can stop if needed to avoid another tragedy like this.
