This cache is located on the far side of the richard cemetery close to the boarding property terrain is easy in the summer however winter may pose a bit of challenge with any heavy snow
PLEASE NOTE: inside this cache are 2 wooden lady bugs they are very special to the family members who maintain this cache PLEASE leave them in the cache :) thank you This cache was placed in memory of my grandfather Gerald Allan Cyr "Gerry" as he was known to friends and family :) Grandpa was a very special man in my life more so then most grandfathers my father passed away when i was 3 1/2 he was 27 far to young for any man to leave this world needless to say grandpa was there in a heart beat for our family when my father passed and was laid to rest in prince albert my mom and I moved to PA to live with my grandma and grandpa grandpa became my father figure the man i looked up at such a young age it was a hard time but grandpa was always there with a smile i remember some fond times just sitting there with him watching cartoons and jeprody and who can forget the price is right ! grandpa not only taught me many things but encouraged my curiosity on how things work at such a young age i can remember taking so many little things apart in grandpa's garage and building things and playing in the huge garden of theirs Grandpa was a man of men and jack of all but master of none he was a outdoors man often going hunting with friends and fishing as well he had a shop like most older folks do a mess that no one could sort through but yet he knew exactly where everything was ;) and so did i after spending so much time in it grandpa was a great handy man could work with wood and metal fix cars make wine and garden all the same ! I remember later on in life spending some great times with grandpa out on the farm hunting gophers haha only some one from sask can understand such fun yes in my eyes grandpa was a great man later on in life my mother met mitch my "stepfather" but in my eyes dad the very fact either of these great men in my life (gerry and mitch) every put up with my shenanigans well if you knew me as a child you would think these men to be saints My grand father was laid to rest in this quite peaceful community of richard and I would love to place this cahce in his memory if you do hunt for this cache i know its weird for some but say hi to grandpa for me :) he doesn't get to many visitors out here and sadly i don't make it nearly as much as i would like to also have a look around there is one funny head stone to the left of grandpa give it a read :) you'll know it when you read it Love you grandpa and miss you lots and thank you, -James
